Alert: Nikken launched a new website on Feb. 22. If you have ordered from Nikken before (you have an account) please click this link to see what you need to do differently to place your first order (only your first order) on the new site.
You can find more information, prices and order the Kenko PowerSleep Mask by clicking the picture below. You will then be taken to the Nikken website to complete your request.
The Kenko PowerSleep Mask combines Nikken’s core technologies to soothe, relax and refresh your eyes and the muscles and tissues around your eyes.
I have this magnetic sleep mask myself and I wear it as I sleep every night. It fits very comfortably and blocks light very well, it breathes nicely so that you eyes don’t sweat while you sleep, and it stays in place for me all night long.
Did you use the old Kenko Sleep Mask that was made with the Elastomag material? I did not like it at all. It didn’t hold its shape well, and it didn’t breathe at all, so it didn’t matter if it blocked like or stayed in place.
The new sleep mask is nothing like the old one. I am very happy with this one and very happily recommend it to everyone. It is also less than half the price of the old mask, so it is a great value.
Why Use a Magnetic Sleep Mask?
First, why would you want to use a sleep mask of any kind, magnetic or not. You want one to deal with light distraction while you sleep. You need a dark space to sleep in. Whether you realize it or not, light can very negatively affect your quality of sleep.
Most people live in cities where it is never really dark. If you have ever flown at night and looked out the window at the ground you have seen the pools of light that marked the cities and towns that you were flying over. I live out in a rural farming area and I still have a street light right outside my bedroom window.
Further, there are all sorts of lights in your bedroom – your alarm clock, maybe a night light, and any number of standby LEDs glowing from your idle electronics. They all contribute to light pollution that can affect your sleep.
A good sleep mask will block all of that out for you.
Now, why use a magnetic sleep mask?
You deal with all sorts of eye strain during the day – computer screens, sunlight through your car windshield, reading, watching TV – that tightens up the muscles around your eyes. Since you’re already wearing a sleep mask at night to deal with light pollution, why not take care of those muscles that help you see your way through the day too?
The magnetic energy in the Kenko PowerSleep Mask will do just that. While you sleep, your eyes and their attached muscles will be bathed in relaxing energy all night long, helping them get read for another day.
I am an independent Nikken distributor and may earn a commission if you order your PowerSleep Mask through the links on this page. Nikken products are only available through independent distributors like me. I use the PowerSleep mask every night and I absolutely love it.
I am looking for how to clean the sleep mask. I can’t find that info online.
Hi Mary. Nikken says that it “may be hand washed with mild detergent. Air dry at room temperature indoors or outside in a shaded area.” I wouldn’t expose it any more water than you have to and don’t expose it to direct sunlight.
