Buy The KenkoTherm Cocoon from Nikken is a magnetic sleeping bag with ceramic and tourmaline fibers for added comfort.

The KenkoTherm Cocoon is the Nikken Sleep System in a sleeping bag. All you need to add is the Naturest magnetic pillow to be complete.

There are two reasons that I love the new KenkoTherm Cocoon magnetic sleeping bag. First is for people who are new to the Nikken products and want the sleep system but either don’t have the money or haven’t built up a strong enough belief in the products yet to invest the money. The smallest magnetic mattress topper, the twin, plus a omforter, is just over $900 (US). They are expensive. The Nikken sleeping bag gives people the chance to experience sleeping with Nikken’s technologies and see that they work. Then they can invest in the full sleep system or keep receiving the benefits from the sleeping bag.

The second reason I love the new Nikken Cocoon sleeping bag is for traveling. When you have the Nikken sleep system, like I do, you start to dislike traveling because the sleep system, especially the mattress topper, isn’t very portable. If your magnetic mattress topper is bigger than a twin then it isn’t portable at all. Whether camping, spending a night in a hotel, or staying at Grandma’s house for the holidays, the KenkoTherm Cocoon is perfect for traveling because it effectively substitutes for the Nikken topper and comforter. Just grab your sleeping bag and Nikken pillow on your way out and you are pretty much set for the night until you get back home to your full sleep system.

What Do I Need to Know About the Magnetic Sleeping Bag?

The Nikken sleeping bag combines magnets, ceramic fibers and tourmaline fibers into a very portable Nikken sleep system.

  • Contains 16 700 gauss ferrous magnets
  • Ceramic fibers absorb ambient energy and reflect back to you for additional warmth
  • Tourmaline-infused polyester filling
  • Cover is 100% nylon
  • Lining is 100% polyester microfiber
  • Size when closed up as a sleeping bag is 33 x 80 inches
  • Opens up to serve as a queen size comforter (66 x 80 inches)
  • Machine washable (cold), air dry
  • 90-day limited warranty

The magnets replicate the Earth’s natural magnetic field to help relax and energize your body while you sleep. Ceramic fibers absorb ambient energy like sunlight and your excess body heat and reflect it back out to help stay the perfect temperature. Excess heat is allowed to dissipate through the sleeping bag. (I can share personal stories about how this really does work). Tourmaline in the filling provides extra relaxation when it is warmed by your body heat.

I am interested in purchasing a nikken sleeping bag. I was told once by another Nikken distributor that they actually repell harmful EMF. Is this true? I can’t seem to find any information on this. That would be my #1 reason for purchasing one as I am very sensitive to EMF and I live near 2 electrical conductors, which has effected my health in a negative way. If you have any info on this I would really appreciate it. Also, I was wondering what your price would be.
    Thank you

Hi Wendy. I don’t think you will find any official documentation from Nikken about any of their products blocking EMF fields. I’ve always heard the same thing from other distributors and I never questioned it. But I have an EMF meter, an EMF source (our circuit breaker box), and plenty of Nikken magnets, so I just did an experiment. I passed the KenkoSeat, PowerSleep Mask and a Kenko PowerChip between the breaker box and my meter and none of them had any effect on the needle position on the meter. I think it’s safe to say that they don’t block EMF.
What the Nikken magnets do, especially the sleep system or sleeping bag, is help the body relax so that you get the best benefit from your time asleep. The better rested and restored your body is while you sleep, the better it is able to handle the challenges of the day, like exposure to EMF.
      I hope that helps.
