Why Sunlight is Good For You

Some tell you that sunlight is bad for you. You can't live without it. I will tell you why sunlight is good for you. Some companies have worked very hard to make you believe that sunlight is dangerous to your health. They talk about sunburns and skin cancer and a bunch of other things to scare you into staying indoors or buying their toxic products. I’m going to show you why sunlight is good for you.

The sun powers our planet. It creates the wind and gives us heat and light. The sun gives us the energy to move by way of the plants and animals that we eat. We can’t live without the sun.

Get Healthy Naturally

Get healthy naturally. It's really the only way. No special diet. No special equipment. Just a natural lifestyle change.Do you have a goal to get healthy naturally? It’s a great goal to have, but do you know how to do it? That’s what I want to explore here and over the next few weeks.

A lot of people are sick. Maybe not visibly sick, like with a cold or the flu, or with a major chronic disease like cancer or diabetes, though far too many are. They are sick as in they are not healthy.

How did we as a society become so unhealthy? I think it is because we have chosen to distance ourselves from nature. When you choose to get back closer to nature then I believe you will be able to get healthy naturally.

Magnetic Insoles for Shoes Make for Happy Feet

Magnetic insoles for shoes take care of your feet throughout the days so that they don't feel so tired and sore at the end of the day.Magnetic insoles for shoes are probably the most obvious and well known of Nikken’s magnetic products. They were the first item that Nikken released when they were founded back in the mid 1970’s in Japan. The magnetic insoles have been around for a long time and they have been improved a few times over the years. They still represent the core of what Nikken does.

Until recently, the Magsteps were the most popular magnetic insoles for shoes. They had large bumps on one surface and were smooth on the other. Nikken has phased them and the Magstrides (a thicker pair of magnetic insoles with a little bit of cushion) out over the past few years and is replacing them with the mSteps and mStrides. The new magnetic insoles have more powerful magnetic nodes and mostly insignificant bumps. They are more of a texture now.

How Magnetic Bracelets Affect the Body

Many people talk about how magnetic bracelets affect the body in a positive way? I use them myself. I think they help.In this post I’m going to talk about how magnetic bracelets affect the body. People get very excited when you talk about using magnets to help your body. Some people adamantly opposed to them, call them a scam and throw the “placebo” word around a lot. Others will talk you ear off about all of the wonderful things that magnets have done for them over the years. By the way, I explain why a placebo is a good thing in and old post.

I learned about magnets, including magnetic bracelets just over 10 years ago and have been using them continuously ever since. I absolutely love them. Let’s see if you will agree with me by the end of this post.

What Your Body Needs – Activity and Rest

What your body needs is alternating periods of rest and activity to stay healthy and strong.Do you know what your body needs? It needs energy from a variety of sources. I talked about that a couple weeks ago when I started this three-part blog post. Your body also needs plenty of building materials to build and repair itself. I talked about that last week in part two. The final piece that I will talk about here is your body’s need for alternating periods of activity and rest.

People are kind of funny about the activity side. It seems that people either obsess about it by going to the gym to work out, or they ignore it altogether.

Most people ignore their body’s need for sleep. Even governments mess with your sleep. They short your kids on their sleep by having them get on the school bus at 6AM and they adjust your sleeping hours by one hour twice each year.

What your body needs to stay healthy is plenty of activity mixed with periods of quality rest and sleep. That’s what I’m talking about today.

What Your Body Needs Everyday – Building Materials

What your body needs everyday to stay healthy and strong is building materials.I started a new post last week about what your body needs everyday. I said that your body needs energy, materials for building and repairing, and alternating periods of activity and rest.

In the first part, I talked about your body’s need for a variety of energies. Most come either directly or indirectly from the sun and others come from the Earth that we live on. If you haven’t read it yet, I invite you to read about your body’s energy needs now, then you can come back here.

This time I want to look into the second part of what your body needs everyday, the materials that your body needs to build and repair itself. That would be the food that you eat.

Why Does My Body Need Energy?

Why does my body need energy? Your body gets energy from many sources, not just your food. What does your body do with it?Why does my body need energy, and where does it come from?

Usually something comes up during the week between blog posts that gives me an idea of what to write for my next post, but nothing came up in the past week. When that happens, I turn either to Google Analytics or the Google Search Console.

They are both great places to see what people are searching for that potentially get them to my website. So I decided to hit the Search Console and see what was there. Looking through the keywords, one search phrase jumped out at me – what your body needs.

That was it, not “what your body needs to sleep well,” or “what your body needs to lose weight,” or “what your body needs to stay fit.” Just “what your body needs.”

There are so many things that could mean and so many ways you could go with it. I’m want to take it at face value. What does your body need? For this post I’m going to focus on energy and answer the question, why does my body need energy?

You Do Have Magnetic Insoles in Your Shoes, Right?

I think there are many benefits to having magnetic insoles in your shoes. What are they?Magnetic insoles are are an insert for your shoe that contains some number of embedded magnets. I have used them myself for just over 10 years and I absolutely love them. You do have magnetic insoles in your shoes, right?

I often get questions about magnetic insoles because I promote and sell them on this website. I believe in them very strongly and decided to address a few questions that I have heard recently about them:

  • What do magnetic insoles do?
  • What are the benefits of magnetic insoles in your shoes?
  • How to use magnetic insoles?
  • I have a pacemaker, can I wear magnetic insoles?
  • Where to buy magnetic insoles?

Foods That Reduce Inflammation

Foods can either cause inflammation or reduce inflammation. What are the foods that reduce inflammation and help you feel better?I have been writing lately about how real food supports your body much better than artificial chemicals cooked up in a lab. Real food supports your liver and gives it the ingredients to make enzymes for digestion. Real food also supports your heart with the minerals to maintain its electrical system. Now, what are the foods that reduce inflammation throughout your body?

So much of what goes on in your body today has to do with too much inflammation. What is inflammation? What causes it, especially what foods cause inflammation? And what are the foods that reduce inflammation?

What Are Heart Healthy Foods?

What are heart healthy foods? Ones that either help directly by offering vitamins and minerals, or indirectly by making it easier for your heart to do its job.The food you eat either helps you or hurts you. What are heart healthy foods?

Your heart is a muscular pump that collects your blood then pumps it throughout your body. One side pumps it through your lungs to oxygenate it then the other side pumps the oxygenated blood everywhere else.

Last time I talked about the foods that support your liver, and that one of the primary functions of your liver is to filter toxins out of your blood. Your heart makes sure that your blood gets there to be cleaned.

This time I am going to share with you some answers to the question, “what are heart healthy foods?”
