Cellphones, Wi-fi, and EMF Radiation

I listened to a call last night with Curtis Bennett of Thermografix Consulting Corporation talking about the dangers of EMF from the electronic equipment that we have around up, especially from Wi-Fi.

Curtis focused most of his talk on how susceptible kids are to this radiation and the fact that more and more schools are installing Wi-Fi systems, so kids are being bombarded with dangerous radiation all day while they are learning. While it is definitely dangerous for us adults it is even more of a problem for kids who are being exposed to it while their bodies and brains are still developing. Parents are finding  that their kids are having problems while at school that then go away once they get home and are not under the influence of the Wi-Fi EMF.

I think Curtis Bennett put it a good way. Our computers are built to work on AC electricity at 60Hz. If you give it a frequency even a little bit different than that your computer won’t work. Likewise, our bodies are designed to work at the Earth’s natural magnetic frequency and if you give it a frequency different than that then we don’t work well either. If you have ever traveled overseas and plugged your hairdryer into an outlet, using a cheap converter, you might get some smoke and the smell of burning wire and plastic. That is because the converter isn’t converting to exactly the right frequency and the electronics in your hairdryer cannot handle it. The same thing is happening to us with Wi-Fi.

Curtis has used his thermal imaging equipment to prove to himself that Nikken’s magnets do provide some relief from the problems caused by EMF radiation, much like the Earth’s magnetic field protects us from the Sun’s radiation.

There are two things that we can do to reduce the amount of EMF that we expose ourselves to. One is to shut off our wireless networks and use a wired network in our homes instead. The insulation around the wire is there to protect us. It might not be as convenient as the Wi-Fi but you, your kids, and your pets will be that much safer. If you really cannot convert from wireless to wired then at least shut off the wireless when you are not using it, especially while you are sleeping.

The second thing you can do if you have to use a cellphone is to use an air tube headset. I found one on Amazon that I’m going to order. I already knew that a Bluetooth ear-piece was no better because it is still wireless. I read yesterday that a wired headset is actually worse than holding the phone itself to your ear. They said that the wire conducts the radiation from the phone as well as acts as an antenna to pick up any other EM radiation in the area and channels it all into your ear canal. An air tube headset doesn’t have any metal wire in it to conduct the radiation so it is much safer.

The best magnetic products to protect yourself from the radiation are the ones that have many magnets in them spread over large areas of the body. Those would be the Kenkoseat magnetic chair pad and the Naturest Mattress pad, or better yet, the entire magnetic sleep system.

Thanks for this great article! The more I learn about EMF radiation, the more it amazes me that we’ve allowed tech to progress this far with virtually no pushback from the medical community.

I’m not familiar with magnets and how they can help, but this piece has made me want to look into it! Thanks again.

It amazes me too, Jordan. From what I’ve read, the problem is that the technology companies have done research and manipulated the data to provide the results they need to show that the EMF is safe. It takes too much time and money for truly independent organizations to do real studies to prove what is safe and what is harmful.

That’s very great post , i’ll recommend to every one to read this information.
