I take an immunity supplement that is made from a blend of 14 medicinal mushrooms and I have had good results. So has the rest of my family, including my two young kids.
I purchased the book “Conquering ANY Disease” while at a seminar and found some amazing information about five of the mushrooms that are in this mushroom supplement.
In Chinese clinical studies Cordyceps mushrooms were shown to alleviate fatigue, improve memory and cognitive capacity, and improve cold tolerance. Cordyceps mushrooms also help patients with respiratory diseases to feel stronger. They boost immune function and improve the liver’s ability to detoxify.
Agaricus Blazei is legendary in Japan for its immune system benefits. Agaricus’ extremely high beta glucan content can cause the immune system to boost its production of white blood cells, which make us more resistent to disease. Research in Japan has also confirmed that Agaricus stimulates and enhances the macrphages that destroy or stop the multiplication of damaged cells, giving it a profound effect on cancer patients.
Shitake and Maitake mushrooms (pictured above) are also packed with beta glucans, which are clinically proven to inhibit cancer cell growth, remove plaque and dilate the arteries to reduce blood pressure, increase the bodies white blood cells and stimulate the immune system.
Reishi mushrooms have long been a symbol of longevity in Asia. Of all the Chinese herbs, Reishi mushrooms are the most powerful for strengthening the immune system. In Japan, Reishi mushrooms are used to manufacture an approved anti-cancer drug. It has been used to help people with allergies and asthma because the Ganoderic Acid contained in Reishi mushrooms has been shown to inhibit histamine release and improve oxygen utilization. It has also been used to help against AIDS, Leukemia, and coronary heart disease.
These are just five of the 14 potent mushrooms that I take regularly.
