These comfortable, warming longjohns are not like other thermal long underwear because, thanks to special ceramic fibers, they gently warm you while not being so think and uncomfortable under your clothes.
The ceramic fibers in the material absorb ambient energy – your body heat, sunlight, etc. – and reflect it back to you as mild heat so that it heats you from the inside out. Excess heat is allowed to escape. I have used Nikken’s blankets with the same fibers since I started with Nikken years ago and the material works. I can’t remember the last time that I got cold at night, or woke up sweating either.

About that last point. For now, Nikken says that the new long johns are only available for a limited-time. I would love for them to become permanent because a lot of people have asked about them. The only way that will happen is if they sell well during this limited release.
