Nikken Far-Infrared

While Nikken is mostly known for their magnetic products, they have also made a good name for themselves with their far-infrared products. What is far-infrared energy? Infrared energy is the frequency range on the electromagnetic spectrum just below visible red light and far-infrared is the bottom part of the infrared frequency range. The body’s tissues normally produce infrared energy (which is why people can be seen on infrared cameras) for warmth and tissue repair. Far-infrared energy can penetrate the body more than an inch to provide heat deep in the body where it is needed, instead of just heating up the skin as would happen with near-infrared or mid-infrared.

Nikken has incorporated their far-infrared technology into a variety of products including comforters, support wraps, magnetic bracelets, socks, and even in the lining of some of the magnetic patches and MagStrides magnetic insoles.

My Experience with the Nikken Far-Infrared Products

We use several of the Nikken infrared products. Thanks to the nutritionals our kids don’t get sick very often. If they do we use the far-infrared comforters to keep their temperature down. If we keep them wrapped up overnight then their temperature is usually back to normal by morning. It sure beats dosing them up with drugs. The Nikken far-infrared sleep system comforter seems to do the best, probably because it has magnets as well as the far-infrared. The new travel comforter works pretty well too and is easier to use because of its smaller size.
