Nikken Products
I have been using Nikken products since April of 2006 when I signed up as a distributor and ordered my first pack. That pack amounts to what is now in the Professional Pack plus a sleep system. We haven't had any of the miracle-level experiences that you might hear from other people because none of my family had any significant health challenges. Instead, we use the Nikken products to help maintain our health instead of reverse some condition. It's easier to use the Nikken products to maintain good health while you have it than have to rely on them to fix a problem after it occurs.
My first experience with the Nikken products was with the magnetic sleep system. We were fortunate enough to be able to borrow a magnetic mattress pad, comforter, and two pillows (a full Nikken sleep system) for one week before we got started with Nikken. My first impression was that it was very firm, followed immediately by the thought that it just felt right. I then fell asleep and slept great. Then we had to give it back.
With our own Nikken sleep system I usually fall asleep very quickly while my wife usually takes a few minutes. Once asleep, we both sleep great. I do sometimes wake up during the night, roll over, then fall right back to sleep. On rare circumstances I might take some time to fall asleep, but not more than 10 minutes or so. One of the cool things with the sleep system is that the comforter works to keep me just the right temperature. I like to be covered when I'm sleeping but not too warm. The far-infrared comforter allows me to stay covered in both the winter and the summer and not get too warm, and I don't use any extra blankets.
We have had two outstanding experiences with the sleep system that I would like to share. One is with the far-infrared comforter and our kids when they are running a temperature. When one of them would get a fever we would wrap them in the comforter and allow the far-infrared technology to bring their temperature back down to normal, usually over night. The other experience was with a crib-sized magnetic pad for our son while he was cutting teeth. With the pad in his crib he only woke up during the night two or three times during the entire teething period.
I wouldn't really be talking about Nikken products if I didn't mention the magnetic insoles. I have two pair of MagSteps that I use, one in the shoes I wear everyday and a second pair in my hiking boots. The MagSteps have a smooth side and a bumpy side. When I first started using the insoles I had to wear them with the smooth side up because I couldn't handle the bumps. After three years with them in my shoes I decided to try them with the bumps up and they have been fine for me, even when hiking a few miles on the Appalachian Trail.
Another one of the Nikken products that I like to use is the magnetic Kenko Seat. It is great to have in the car when traveling because it increases the comfort of the car seat. With the Nikken Kenko Seat I have found that my back doesn't sweat against the seat like it did without the it and I don't experience any discomfort / numbness from sitting in one place for several hours. When I had a job I would use the Kenko Seat in my chair at work too. It made the chair much more comfortable, and I noticed it most when I forgot the Kenko Seat in my car.
Along with the sleep system, one of the first Nikken products I tried was one of the magnetic necklaces. I love the jewelry, it is suitable for both men and women, and I wear my necklace and bracelet all the time. My most significant experience with the jewelry is with my magnetic bracelet. I hurt my wrists while carrying my kids when they were babies. Basically, I would over-flex my wrists for an extended time which caused my wrists to pop or sometime lock up. Either way, it hurt and that's not a good thing for a massage therapist. I won't lie to you and say that the problem went away overnight because it actually took several months. I would wear the nicer titanium magnetic bracelet on one wrist and one of the less expensive magnetic sports bracelets on the other, and sometime two bracelets on one wrist. After several months I didn't notice the popping anymore and now the symptoms are long gone.
Nikken has a great line of nutritional supplements. While they are definitely not the most stand-out products that Nikken offers (not a single magnet to be found here) I think they are worth taking a look at. I have tried most of the nutritional products and will focus on just the few that my family uses every day. They are Ciaga, Jade GreenZymes, Immunity, Lactoferrin, and Mega Daily 4. We typically mix an ounce of Ciaga with a teaspoon of the Jade GreenZymes powder in a glass of water to create what we call a "cocktail". Our kids love it because the sweetness of the Ciaga masks the grassy taste of the Jade GreenZymes and we know our kids are getting the nutritional boost that they need. We usually add the contents of one Immunity capsule to our kids cocktails, especially during the fall and winter. My wife and I use our Ciaga and Jade GreenZymes cocktail to wash down the rest of our daily nutritionals, usually just an Immunity, Lactoferrin, and the four Mega Daily 4 tablets. Our diets are hardly perfect so we make sure that we take our nutritional supplements regularly. Obviously I can't say that this is the only reason, but it has been a few years since there has been any significant illness in our family.
If there is one of the Nikken products that we like more than any other, it's the water. We have both an Aqua Pour and a Deluxe Under-Counter Water System that we use in our house. Our Aqua Pour is set up on a low table so that our kids can get to it easily. The Under-Counter system is installed under our kitchen sink and we use that water to drink, water the plants, and cook with. Other than a little milk, our daily Ciaga, and on rare occassions some cranberry juice for the kids, water is all that we drink. Oh yeah, we drink tea and hot cocoa too (made with our Nikken water of course). We carry bottles of our Nikken water with us everywhere we go, even into restaurants. To be completely honest with you, we didn't like the faucet that came with our Under-Counter water system so we ordered a nicer one from Home Depot. I'm not a plumber by any stretch of the imagination but I was able to install the system and the new faucet easily without having to call on any professionals.
We like our water so much that my parents decided to try out the Aqua Pour. They borrowed ours for a month, liked it, and ordered their own. My brother visited my parents while they had our Aqua Pour and decided to get one for themselves too. My grandmother stayed with my parents for a few months and also liked the Aqua Pour enough to get one. My parents and my grandmother like the Aqua Pour because they fit nicely in their motorhomes when they go camping. Then they don't have to worry so much about the quality of the water at the campgrounds they visit. My parents don't use many of the Nikken products, just the Aqua Pour and the MagSteps.
The last of the Nikken products that our whole family uses is the Nikken Air Wellness Power 5 air filter. It sits in our livingroom and works tirelessly. We have a cat and two small kids who like to run in and out of the house continuously. We also happen to live in Georgia, which is really bad with pollen in the Spring. Our Nikken air filter handles it all. We don't think much about it because it is quiet and, for us, only asks for new replacement filters about every one and a half years. I try to remember to clean off the pre-filter screen every couple months to help it out and extend the life of the filters inside. Nikken has introduced a new model, the Air Wellness Power 5 Pro, since we bought ours and we will probably get one someday. For now, our older unit works great and Nikken is great about keeping replacement parts for older products that they no longer carried.
There is one more group of Nikken products that is used in our house, but only by my wife, and that is the True Elements Skin Care line. She uses the Foaming Face Wash, Pore Refining Toner, and the Daily Perfecting Cream every day. There isn't much to say about them other than that she likes them and says that her skin has never felt softer. What more could you want?
