Nikken Biaxial Magnets

Nikken Biaxial Magnets - PowerMag

NEWS November 2016 Nikken has finally brought out the replacement for the old Biaxial PowerMag. The new KenkoTouch uses DynaFlux magnets to relieve muscle tension and promote relaxation. Read more about it and see the video on my KenkoTouch page.

Nikken has discontinued the Biaxial PowerMag in the summer of 2014 and promised that a replacement device would be coming.

In the mean time, the best substitutes for the Biaxial magnets was the MagDuo on the Magnetic Massage page. The benefits that the Biaxial magnets offered came from the magnet spinning – creating a much larger magnetic field than a stationary magnet can. The Biaxial magnets also spun the magnet for you.

The MagDuo has a smaller effect because it spins on one axis instead of two and you have to spin it manually, but it does produce a much bigger effect than a stationary magnet. The benefit that it has over the Biaxial is that you get the benefit of the nodules touching and moving your skin. If you’ve had a massage then you know that is a very nice benefit indeed.

I just found a biaxial power mag and looked it up.
I am sensitive to touch & think the magnetic energy will help. How do I use the unit?
This blog mentioned electric cord…this unit does not have one & requires batteries. Do I need to get a cord? No use instructions are in the box. Any help would be appreciated

Congrats Jane. The PowerMag is a nice find. Insert some batteries in the back and turn it on with the black thumb wheel and you’re good to go. I found the manual and emailed it to you.

Was at my physiatrist today and he suggested the Biaxial power mag. I am allergic to metal, and he thought it would be great for me since it would not have to touch my skin. Now I see they do not offer it. Any suggestions

    • Hi Amy. Unfortunately the PowerMag has been gone a for a few years. The KenkoTouch is the closest thing to a replacement but it works very differently. It has magnets but it is also a massager and touches your skin. If you’re looking for a magnet you can use, maybe a PowerChip would work. You would just need a layer of cloth between the magnet and your skin, which shouldn’t noticeably diminish the effect.

I received a Nikken Biaxial Body Energizer #13214 for Christmas. I am prediabetic & have slowly been loosing feeling in my feet. I started using it about a week ago & the feeling is returning very quickly. I am wondering if there any side effects.

    • Ben says:

Wow! I’m glad that you are having great results with the Body Energizer, and I hope you continue to. It’s just magnetic energy, which is something that the body recognizes, so there aren’t any side effects.
The Body Energizer hasn’t been available for a long time, so take good care of the one you have and it should last a long time. They don’t handle electrical surges very well either, so be sure to unplug it when you aren’t using it, especially during lightning storms.

  4. Could you please let me know when the new product for the Nikken Biaxial PowerMag is available.
    Thank you

    • Ben says:

Hi Beverly. I will definitely let you know when/if I hear anything new. The sense that I got the last time that I asked about it was that it isn’t very likely. I hope something does happen because I really like mine too.

  5. Colleen says:

I would like to know more about when Nikken is going to come out with the replacement for the biaxial powermag. Would you keep me informed please. I had heard that it is supposed to be right soon, if that is true.

    • Ben says:

Hi Colleen. I checked with Nikken about a month ago and they said that it is still coming. Nikken usually releases new products in October, so that is the next likely time for this. No guarantees but I am hoping. I will add you to the list.

    Hello!
I was interested in the nikken power mag to help me with healing my acne, trapped emotions and a knee injury. I was excited about the nikken mag! Is there something else you would recommend that I could use to work on myself with?
    Best,
    Kayla

    • Hi Kayla,
Using magnets to address acne is not one I’ve heard before, so I don’t really know what to suggest other than maybe the sleep system – magnetic mattress topper, pillow and comforter. That is the most expensive option but it is the only one currently that will keep you wrapped in a magnetic cocoon for an extended period of time. Releasing trapped emotions could also help, so…
For trapped emotions I usually use a Magboy, now called the MagDuo. Have you heard of the Emotion Code book by Dr. Nelson? I use his technique and roll the magnet along the governing vessel meridian over the top of my head.
To relieve discomfort in the knee I would use 1 or 2 Kenko PowerChips taped to the knee or held in place by a wrap, like an Ace bandage or something. The PowerChip is also strong enough to be useful for releasing trapped emotions though the MagDuo will feel better.
      I hope that helps.
      Wayne
