Effective Magnetic Support Wraps

UPDATE 1/30/2012 – The Elastomag wraps were discontinued on October 1. Though many of them have already sold out, Nikken does still have some of them in stock. Note that Nikken’s policy is that all sales are final on discontinued items.

Nikken is sold out of all of the Elastomag wraps now. Here is what I have left. Call or email me.

  • Hand Wrap – medium – I still have 1.
  • Hand Wrap – large – I still have 2.

These are all brand new. Call me soon to get these last Elastomag wraps. My phone number and email address are at the top of this page.

Nikken Magnetic Hand Wrap

The Elastomag magnetic wraps provided uniform magnetic coverage over the whole area. Unfortunately, except for the ones I have listed above, they have been discontinued and are now sold out.

What Nikken recommends as a replacement is a KenkoTherm wrap and a couple of the new PowerChip magnets. For example, if you want a magnetic wrap for your elbow you could pull a KenkoTherm wrap over your elbow and slide a PowerChip or two under the wrap. The wrap is tight enough to hold the magnets in place.

This solution will work for the elbow, wrist, knee, and ankle.

If you are looking for shoulder or neck wrap then I recommend either the PowerChips or some PowerPatches and a roll of first-aid tape, then tape them on where you need them. Depending on where you want them, you may need some help taping them in place.

People often ask if magnets work and what they do. What I can tell is that magnets have been used for centuries to help balance the energy in the body. Doctors use pulsed magnetic fields to help broken bones heal when the don’t heal by themselves. Scientific studies are starting to appear that verify the use of magnets to heal the body. There are two books that I like that talk about the science behind using magnets and other forms of energy in healing.

  • Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis by James Oschman
  • The Body Electric by Robert Becker.
