Magnets affect particle flows that are perpendicular to the magnetic field. By rotating a magnet on an axis, you have the potential to affect a lot more energy flow. Add another axis of rotation and you create a 360 degree magnetic field that has the ability to affect any particle flow that comes within reach of the magnetic field.

The body’s energy fields are very weak when compared to the magnets that most people are aware of, which is good because we don’t really want sharpened knives to chase us through the kitchen like in some cartoons. We do create a magnetic field though and it is detectible by very sensitive medical and scientific equipment.

We also have a lot of energy flows within the body that are generate fields in the body and are affected by other fields in the body. These fields and flows are also affected by fields that occur external to the body, such as the artificial electromagnetic fields created by electricity, TVs, and computers. We are also heavily influenced by the Earth’s magnetic field, which is also very weak.

In fact, we depend on the Earth’s magnetic field interacting with the fields and energy flows in our body. Various medical scientists have determined that some of our illnesses are in fact caused by us being isolated or insulated from the Earth’s field. For example, when we are in our homes or work places surrounded by electric current, TVs, and computers, and other devices, we are effectively blocking out the more subtle magnetic field generated by the Earth and possibly exposing ourselves to harmful EMF. They have found that this can be a cause for depression, headaches, and fatigue.

What Nikken has done is given us small magnets of varying strengths to help us recharge and stabilize our bodies. We have a choice really. We can get rid of the electric currents and electronic devices that we surround ourselves with, spend more time outside, walk or ride a bike everywhere we go, and sleep on the ground. Or we can use magnets, like the ones from Nikken, to bring the Earth’s magnetic field inside, close to the body. While I do like to camp out in the woods from time to time, I generally prefer to sleep on a comfortable bed and make use of a lot of the modern conveniences that electricity provides.

That means that I also make extensive use of the magnetic products that Nikken provides on a day to day basis. Especially my magnetic insoles, magnetic bracelet, and magnetic mattress pad. I do not like to spend much time without them.

Going back to the spinning magnet affecting flows going every which way, Nikken offers something it calls Biaxial Rotation in two products, the Body Energizer and the Palm Mag.

I was just listening to a conference call where one of the participants was talking about how they use Nikken’s Biaxial magnets very effectively with horses. One of the cool things about using something like a magnet with animals is that it immediately removes any discussion of the placebo effect. You just can’t convince an animal that something works if it doesn’t.

If you found this interesting or helpful I would appreciate you sharing it with your followers on the social networks. I would also like to hear about your experiences with Nikken’s magnets in a comment below.

How many times have you banged some part of your body and thought begrudgingly that tomorrow there would be a mark? And how many times have you looked at some part of your body and wondered where that bruise came from? I know that I have been in both those situations. Not anymore.

Nikken is a well-established company that has been helping the world with magnets since the mid seventies. They have introduced a new product that not only works wonders but it is also completely affordable. The Nikken Power Patch is a revolutionary product that has many applications. Many people know of the effects that magnets have on conditions such as peripheral neuropathy and muscle aches but I came across a new use. I had been using the Power Patches on my neck and shoulders and have friends who have had good results using them for headaches, so I knew they worked.

One afternoon I was sprinting across the garage and caught my leg on the handlebar of a bicycle. As soon as I did it, I had the thought “that’s going to leave a bruise”. Then I had another thought: Nikken Power Patch. I immediately went inside and stuck one right on the spot where my leg banged into the handlebar and left it there for the remainder of the day. The next morning I removed the Power Patch and guess what? No bruise. The area was not even tender to the touch. I was impressed. Now, anytime I bang an elbow or a shin, I head straight to my magnets. I have also had good luck in speeding the healing of small cuts and scratches with the Power Patches after the skin closed.

I’ll tell you another really cool thing about magnets. They work great for kids as well as adults. Anytime our kids fall down or get a bump, they ask for a magnet. And at $2 each, you can have some for the whole family.

Do you have difficulty sleeping more than a few hours at a time? Nikken has just launched a new magnetic mattress topper and will discontinue the current Ultra Kenko Pad once they run out. They are calling the new magnetic pad the Kenko Naturest Mattress Topper. There is also a new Naturest pillow as well that will replace the existing pillow.

The technology advances are cool but the most important thing is how people are sleeping. I used to have trouble getting to sleep at night until I started using Nikken’s current magnetic mattress pad, the Ultra Kenko Pad. Once that was on my bed I could fall asleep within seconds of laying down, and still do. The only down side to that magnetic pad is that it is very firm. If you like a soft bed then it probably took a little adapting to, and it did for me.

There are a few people who still had trouble sleeping with that one. Two people in my upline told me that before the Ultra Kenko Pad they would sleep very little. With that pad they could sleep 4 hours or so at a time and feel great. That was a significant improvement for them and they were happy with that.

Now comes the new Naturest mattress topper. These same people are saying that this new pad is helping them to sleep 8 or 9 hours a night. They might not get that every night, but even just 2 or 3 nights a week of sleeping completely through the night is a huge breakthrough for them.

The new magnetic mattress pad, or mattress topper as they are calling them now, is made using a natural latex rubber and a new magnet technology. Latex provides many benefits. It is a renewable resource, so it is good for the environment. The latex is much softer than the foam from the current magnetic pad, so it is more comfortable and easier to adjust to. Natural latex is also resistant to microbes and such, so it is cleaner and better for the body.

I don’t know much about the science behind the new magnets in the Naturest pad other than that they have figured out how to incorporate 3 magnets, offset from each other to some degree, into each node. They are calling this Radial-Axis Magnetism or RAM and it somehow creates a 3-dimensional magnetic cocoon effect that wraps the body and is able to pull you deeper into sleep.

While all of the new technologies are great, the important thing is that people who had trouble sleeping are now able to sleep through the night. Of course, there is no guarantee that you will experience the same results that they have. The cool thing about magnets is that they don’t have any negative side-effects, so it doesn’t hurt to try it out.

The Kenko Naturest Mattress Topper and pillow is currently in a pre-order phase. Leave me a comment here or use my contact page to reach me to find out more about it and order your own.

CBS recently had a news segment about Dr. Weintraub‘s study showing that diabetic patients with peripheral neuropathy are receiving significant benefits from using magnets. They say that some patients, in addition to some easing of the pain and numbness that is a part of peripheral neuropathy, are also showing signs that the nerve fibers are actually regenerating. That is great news and could lead into some significant studies to see if magnets could help with spinal cord repair.

Check out the video and let me know what you think.

Absolutely! Doctor’s do use magnets to help the body heal.

Currently the only FDA approved magnetic devices are those that generate pulsed electromagnetic fields. One application of this that I have read about is in healing broken bones. If a bone doesn’t heal in 3 to 6 months they may prescribe a battery operated device that the patient has to wear to 8 to 10 hours a day. The device generates a pulsed magnetic field that stimulates the healing process in the bone.

Research has shown that magnetic fields can be effective for soft-tissue repair too. Studies have shown things like reduced swelling, diminished pain, faster recovery, and accelerated nerve regeneration. That’s just a few of the benefits that science has shown.

I believe that people can get similar benefits from the right static and biaxial magnets as well. While not FDA approved, they have shown to be very effective in helping the body heal and have been used for thousands of years.

Bear in mind though that not everyone will see immediate benefit from magnets, whether pulsed or static. But then, not everyone receives immediate benefit from medications or any other therapy either. The great thing about magnets is that there are no side effects. You can’t say that about drugs.

Wayne Woodworth
I am an electromagnetic field and so are you.

Scientific research is finally beginning to find out how magnetic fields help the body. I want to share one item that I read about yesterday.

Scientists are finally studying the connective tissue, the fascia, in the body and discovering all of the amazing properties that it has. One aspect of the fascial system is the perineural system, which is the connective tissue that covers every last nerve fiber in the entire body. Robert O. Becker discovered that it operates on a low voltage direct current (DC) and controls injury repair.

One of the discoveries that Becker made about the perineural system was that it is sensitive to magnetic fields. His research was based on the ‘transverse Hall Effect’ which indicates that semiconduction is taking place in the system and gives a basis for healing with magnets and biomagnetic fields.

The Hall Effect states that if a current is flowing through a magnetic field, the magnetic field exerts a transverse force on the charge carriers that tens to push them to one side of the conductor.

So there’s the science behind magnets helping the body. If it all made sense to you then that’s great. If it didn’t, then here’s something that might help. Magnets have been used for thousands of years by various cultures. Try them for yourself and see what happens. Contact me and I will get you hooked up.

I highly recommend the book where I found this information: Energy Medicine: The Scientific Basis by James L. Oschman

Robert Becker also has a book, The Body Electric: Electromagnetism and the Foundation of Life, that I have not read yet. I will as soon as I finish Oschman’s book.

I was asked yesterday if magnets can help with fibromyalgia. I would like to be able to just say “yes” and move on, but that would be irresponsible and get me in a whole bunch of trouble with Nikken and the FDA, so I won’t.

Before I go any farther, I want to make it completely clear that I am not a doctor, I cannot diagnose whether you have fibromyalgia or any other condition, and I cannot prescribe anything for any condition that you may have.

So, what can I say about fibromyalgia? Well, for one, medicine hasn’t actually decided what exactly fibromyalgia is. It is closely related to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and the lines between the two conditions appear to be very blurry. It is classified as one of the many auto-immune conditions where the immune system attacks the body as if it was an attacker. People who have fibromyalgia usually complain that their whole body hurts all the time, and it is a chronic condition, which means that they will probably have it for a very long time and maybe the rest of their life. People with fibromyalgia don’t usually have much hope of getting out of pain, which is a really sad way to have to live.

I read a good description of fibromyalgia on another site. It said that it is an inflammation based condition. For whatever reason, inflammation is triggered and it stays on, becoming chronic.

As a Nikken consultant I have heard many people report that problems with inflammation have improved after using the magnetic sleep system, insoles, and the biaxial magnetic rotation products. I have also heard several testimonials in regards to fibromyalgia specifically.

As I said before, I’m not a doctor, so I cannot tell you that magnets will help you if you have fibromyalgia. I will say that magnets have been determined to be completely safe, unless you have a pacemaker or some other battery-powered implant. With that said, my recommendation is that if you want an alternative to living with pan, give the Nikken magnets a try. Use the sleep system, insoles, and always drink plenty of water (we are 70% water and need to stay hydrated) for 3 months. The worst that can happen is that nothing happened, and just maybe something might.

Wayne Woodworth
A good night’s sleep on a magnetic mattress pad makes me feel great.

Nikken doesn’t have any products with the extremely high Gauss ratings that you can find from some other products online. I have received questions from several people who think that the stronger magnetic fields will do better for them. I haven’t been able to give them a good answer until now because I’m not an expert on magnetism and its effects on the body.

While not an official Nikken response, the answer comes from the man who has invented and developed several of Nikken’s magnetic products, Anthony Bove. Basically, those high Gauss magnetic fields can generate too much electricity and heat in the body. If you want to get more into the science and all of that then you are welcome to look up things like Faraday’s Law and Lorentz Force.

More telling for me is to look at thermographic images from before and after actually using the magnets.

Notice that when the thermographic image first shows up, the subjects toes are cold (black) and by the end they are warm (white). That’s what really matters, and this is just from a pair of magnetic insoles (MagStrides in this case).

Do you have trouble with places that are sore or tight in your shoulders and/or upper back? In massage we call them knots or trigger points. If you go to see a massage therapist about this it will probably hurt because we are taught to press on them and hold until the intensity decreases. It is also hard on the therapist’s thumbs. It is no fun for either the client or the therapist.

There is a better way. Magnets do wonders for releasing trigger points and there are two magnetic tools that I use when dealing with them.

First are MagBoys. These are small magnetic balls in a holder that I use to roll rapidly over the trigger point for a few minutes. Unlike Trigger Point Therapy, it doesn’t hurt. Actually, it feels really good and the trigger point melts away.

Second are Power Patches. PowerPatches are small magnetic buttons stuck to a self-adhesive disk that can be placed directly over the trigger point. It takes longer to relieve the trigger point, but if you put the patch on before going to bed then the discomfort will probably be gone by morning.

I love using magnets when doing massage and taking care of aches and pains. I find that clients tense up if they feel pain, like in the usual way of dealing with muscle knots, so magnets work much better because there is no additional pain and they promote relaxation.

Do you spend a lot of time in a car or travel long distances by car? I do and after a while my back would get sweaty and I would have to move around a lot to find a comfortable way to sit. Have you experienced that?

Well, I found a solution. I have a chair pad that I take with me just about everywhere I go. It stays in my chair while I’m at work then goes with me when I leave so that I can use it in the car. I will never travel out of town with it. I regularly travel 5 or 6 hours in the car to visit my in-laws and I feel just as good when I get out of the car as I did when I started the trip.

The chair pad is a soft foam with magnets spaced throughout it and far-infrared fibers in the covering and it just works. It is amazing.

It is called a KenkoSeat.
